OUR MISSION
Anchor & Vine is Christ-centered global outreach built for crisis response, community care, training and deployment.
We believe the call of Christ is not abstract. It is embodied. It leads us into places of need.
OUR POSTURE
We believe effective mission begins long before action and continues long after attention fades. For that reason, Anchor & Vine approaches global outreach through discernment, preparation, and relationship, rather than scale or spectacle.
We seek to be present in moments of crisis and in the long spaces that follow—walking alongside individuals and communities with care, consistency, and respect.
OUR CALLING
We understand mission as participation in what God is already doing.
That participation takes many forms:
• Responding to immediate crisis, whether personal or large-scale.
• Supporting communities through seasons of recovery and care.
• Preparing and forming people to serve wisely in complex environments.
Some are called to go.
Some are called to give.
All are invited to respond.
HOW WE SERVE
Anchor & Vine serves through crisis response, community care, and formation.
We believe faithful service requires:
• Spiritual formation before deployment.
• Relational humility over short-term outcomes.
• Respect for local leadership and cultural context.
• Partnerships rooted in trust, not extraction.
Our work may include short-term engagements, but it is always shaped by long-term relationships. We aim to do no harm—and to do good only where invited, prepared, and accountable.
OUR FAITH
Anchor & Vine Global Outreach affirms the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed. These creeds anchor our theology, guide our practice, and unite us with the Church across time and tradition.
-
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen. -
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is,
seen and unseen.We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
was incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary
and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.Amen.
We hold these confessions as faithful summaries of the Christian gospel and as foundations for our life, mission, and witness.
OUR HOPE
We believe God still moves.
Sometimes in moments of urgency.
Sometimes in seasons of waiting.
Sometimes in joy.
Sometimes in pain.
Our role is not to orchestrate outcomes, but to walk in obedience—ready to respond, willing to stay, and humble enough to listen.
This is the work we are called to.
This is the mission we carry.
